Follow us on social media: Get rid of unused meds the right way! Dispose of your prescription and over-the-counter medications safely at Capital Care Pharmacy! The LifeinCheck™ Drug Disposal program enables everyone in our community to quickly and easily dispose of their unused or expired medications any time they visit Capital Care Pharmacy, simply by placing them in the secured receptacle. Accepted medications for disposal in the bin include: Unused or expired prescription medication (including schedule II-V controlled substances). Unused or expired over-the-counter medications. Pet medications. Items that are not accepted include: Schedule 1 controlled substances. Illegal drugs. Thermometers, inhalers, lotions/liquids, aerosol cans, needles and hydrogen peroxide. Where to find us: Capital Care Pharmacy is located at 1125 Madison St. in Jefferson City.
