Patients

who wish to see a health care

provider with no appointment can do so

at the Capital Region Quick Care clinic

located inside Jefferson City’s Hy-Vee

grocery store at 3721 W. Truman Blvd.

Operated by Capital Region Physicians,

Capital Region Quick Care opened Feb. 1.

“Health care delivery is changing;

patients want convenient access to

high-quality services that fits into their

schedules,” says Gaspare Calvaruso,

President of Capital Region Medical

Center. “We are addressing the needs of

the community by providing walk-in clinic

services seven days a week.”

Located just inside the doors of your

neighborhood Hy-Vee, the clinic is

positioned next to the store’s pharmacy.

Capital Region Quick Care is open to

everyone two years and older who might

need treatment for routine illnesses or

common conditions, including sore throat

or cough, urinary symptoms, skin rashes

and minor injuries.

The clinic’s convenient hours—7 a.m. to

7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.

to 4 p.m. on weekends—give patients the

opportunity to be seen before or after

regular school or work hours. The clinic is

closed from 1 to 2 p.m. daily.

We’reproactive about your care

Capital Region Quick Care clinic staff

will help find a primary care physician

(PCP) and schedule an appointment for

patients in need of follow-up care who do

not have a PCP or would like to establish

care with one.

“For patients, a major advantage

of Capital Region Quick Care is the

connectivity to the resources of the

entire Capital Region Physicians network,

including more than 130 primary care and

specialty providers,” says Tom Niekamp,

Vice President of Physician Relations and

Clinics. “What’s more, with our robust

integration, patient information can be

accessed across the medical group,

saving time and improving care.”

Capital Region Quick Care is linked

to the entire Capital Region Physicians

group through our advanced electronic

health record, which gives caregivers

immediate access to a patient’s up-to-

date medical information.

“As primary care providers, we

recognize the importance for patients

to receive the care they need when

they need it,” says Randall Haight, MD,

Vice President of Medical Affairs and

internal medicine physician at Capital

Region Medical Center. “By providing

patient-focused care proactively and

conveniently for the patient, we can help

those in our community live healthier

lives.”
